SOLD - Idaho Dream 218 Acre River Property on the Kootenai River!

The Kootenai River Ranch is a rare opportunity to own 1.5+/- miles of beautiful Kootenai River frontage. Including 218+/- acres of buildable land and 2 solar powered wells, which make the possibilities endless. The southern exposure of this property allows you to enjoy the sunny days year-round, while also being one of the first properties to thaw out each spring. Private end of road access and developed roads throughout the property allow for you to start building your dream property right away. Currently leased as summer grazing for cattle, the vegetation is lush and sub irrigated for a green sustainable pasture. River bank restoration was put into place nearly ten years ago to ensure that the banks of this property will be stable and here for centuries to come.

Located only 5 minutes from the town of Bonners Ferry, the Kootenai River Ranch is close to many recreational activities. Enjoy river rafting in the summer on the Moyie River, or skiing at Schweitzer Mountain or snowmobiling in the Cabinet or Selkirk Mountains in the winter. Bonners Ferry has all the amenities needed without being stuck in a large city.

Got a free afternoon? Let’s get an easy hike in, and it's only a few minutes from Bonners Ferry! Snow Creek Falls is only a mile and a half round trip with 200 ft elevation gain and two of the prettiest waterfalls in the county. The trailhead is just a few miles south of the Kootenai Wildlife Refuge and it's an easy drive into the mountains. The trail splits halfway down and you can explore both the lower and upper falls. The best times to visit this trail are April through October. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash. If you have visitors in town, it’s one of the best little North Idaho hikes to show off to them.
