Schools & Families
Public, charter and private schools, plus childcare, 4-H, youth sports and the library.
One school district, one high school, and a graduating class where most of the kids have known each other since kindergarten. For some families that is the whole point of moving here. This chapter covers the public schools, the charter and private options, and the things that fill the hours after the bell.
Boundary County School District 101 serves the whole county with three elementary schools, a middle school and Bonners Ferry High School, home of the Badgers. A tuition-free public charter school and several private schools round out the choices, and the county has 4-H, youth sports and an active library for families.
